Summary
Consumers and prospective customers are interested in what you have to
offer when you market your goods and services. "Process" is the
important word in this definition. Research, promotion, sales, and distribution
are all part of marketing.
It's common to think of digital marketing as a new method for businesses
to interact with customers and get insight into their habits. Traditional and
digital marketing methods are often used in tandem by businesses.
The primary distinction between digital and conventional marketing is
the channel via which an audience is exposed to a marketing message.. Digital
marketing, as opposed to conventional marketing, makes use of electronic media,
such as websites and social media.
Introduction
American Marketing Association defines marketing as "the activity,
collection of institutions and procedures for developing and exchanging
offerings that provide value for consumers, clients, partners and society as a
whole."
There are two type of marketing: Traditional and Digital.
When it comes to e-commerce, online marketing focuses on websites and
blogs in order to connect with customers. With the help of websites, blogs,
e-mail newsletters, social media platforms, forums and mobile apps you may
spread the word about your business.
Using the internet, e-mail, or mobile devices, any kind of marketing may
be considered digital marketing. In recent years, the expansion of digital
gadgets and the growth of internet networking has gained tremendous popularity.
On the other hand, traditional marketing is defined as any sort of offline
advertising, such as print ads, TV commercials or radio adverts. For bigger
companies with greater resources, this is still a common way to sell.
Tasks one through four need a blog or video format to be completed. Nike
and Adidas' internet marketing techniques in Uzbekistan are the focus of our
following investigation.
Task 1: Digital Marketing Branding
Your strategy doesn't matter, large or little, whether you're a
multinational or a tiny, mid-sized corporation. Do something that sets your
firm apart from the competition. Gain the trust of your consumers by developing
a strong belief system. Once you have their trust, they will go to you without
any hesitation.
When it comes to branding, it's all about transforming your first-time
clients become long-term customers like Apple, Samsung, Amazon, etc. The best
way to keep a consumer coming back is to take advantage of every chance you
have when a potential purchase approaches you. Developing a strong relationship
with your customers is the key to long-term success for any business.
Nike and Adidas now have to change their business models to take
advantage of online shopping and social media. Thus, they devote a large
portion of their budget to digital advertising and social media efforts. The
effectiveness of social media campaigns may be seen in the sales and brand
recognition they generate, as well as in the campaign outcomes.
Social media followings, subscribers, and likes for both firms are
astronomical. Nike has a larger Instagram and YouTube following than Adidas,
whereas Adidas has a larger Facebook and Twitter following.

Independent contract manufacturers, many of whom run numerous plants, produce NIKE's footwear outside the US. 150 shoe manufacturers in 14 countries provided the firm with goods in fiscal year 2014. NIKE's footwear was made at contract factories in Vietnam, China, and Indonesia, which produced 43%, 28%, and 25% of the total. More than half of all NIKE brand footwear was produced at a single plant. Memphis, Tennessee is home to five Nike distribution sites, three of which are leased. At the end of fiscal year 2014, the corporation has 16 distribution facilities outside the United States.
Adidas clothing is produced in a wide range of nations, including China,
Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia. Around the globe, Adidas items are made by
775,000 people largely women in 1,200 factories in 65 nations. Adidas'
purchasing tactics have a significant impact on the working conditions and
lives of people at factories in developing countries, where nearly all of the
employment are outsourced. When it comes to these laborers, research has shown
the terrible realities of their lives.
